Jackpot Cap

The jackpot rolls over to the next draw if nobody manages to match all seven winning numbers. If the jackpot reaches €120 million, it is then capped and will stay at €120 million until it is won. When this happens, any money that would usually be added to the jackpot fund are added to the next prize level. This can create a very large prize for matching five main numbers plus one Star number.

The top prize has reached the cap several times since the game began in 2012. Check the Statistics page to find out which countries have won the most jackpots.
