Triss

Triss is Sweden’s most popular scratchcard. It gives you the chance to win up to 1 million kr in an instant, whether you play online or through a lottery agent.

There are various different formats of Triss but they all work in a similar way. Scratch your card to reveal the symbols underneath. You need to uncover three identical prize amounts, or three identical symbols, to win.

If you reveal three TV symbols, you get the opportunity to go on the Nyhetsmorgon TV show and participate in a live draw where you could win anywhere from 100,000 kr to 5 million kr. Scratch out three clover symbols and you also get to play on TV. The prize here will be a guaranteed payout per month, ranging from 10,000 kr a month for 10 years up to 100,000 kr a month for 25 years.

Giving away Triss games is also extremely popular in Sweden and can be done via test message or email. Find out more about the different variations below, including the prizes you can win.

Triss 30

Triss 30 is the standard version of the game. There are nine areas to scratch out and you need to get three of the same symbols to win a prize. There’s also an ‘Extra Chance’ section where you can multiply winnings by 2, 5 or 10 times their value. The following table shows how much you can win on the game:

Cost 30 kr
Maximum Win on Scratch Card 1 million kr
Lowest Win on Scratch Card 30 kr
Highest Clover Win 5 million kr
Highest TV Win 100,000 kr per month for 25 years

For every 2 million tickets sold, there are 429,000 winners. This includes a range of prizes, starting from 30 kr and going up to 1 million kr. In total, 49 percent of the money spent on Triss scratchcards ends up being returned to players in the form of prize money.

BilTriss

BilTriss works in the same way as Triss 30, except that there is also the opportunity to win a Tesla Model 3 Long Range. To win the car, you must match three Tesla symbols on your card. You’ll receive a prize worth 710,000 kr, which includes the Tesla (value 660,000 kr), plus 50,000 kr to use on insurance and equipment such as a charging system and winter tyres. The cost of playing BilTriss is 40 kr.

DubbelTriss

In DubbelTriss, everything is twice as big. There are two halves to the scratch card – left and right – so there are 18 symbols to uncover altogether rather than nine. You still win by matching three identical symbols, whether they are all on the left, all on the right, or you have two on one side and one on the other. The following table shows what you need to know about the game:

Cost 60 kr
Maximum Win on Scratch Card 1 million kr
Lowest Win on Scratch Card 60 kr
Highest Clover Win 5 million kr
Highest TV Win 100,000 kr per month for 25 years

MiniTriss

MiniTriss is available for just 10 kr, but there’s still a jackpot of 1 million kr up for grabs, plus lots of other prizes. There are only six areas to scratch and you must get three matching symbols to win. Unlike the other versions of Triss, you cannot scratch out TV symbols or clover symbols.

Cost 10 kr
Maximum Win on Scratch Card 1 million kr
Lowest Win on Scratch Card 10 kr
